Erlenbach am Main is located about 60 km from Frankfurt, mainly via the autobahn A3, 23 km south of Aschaffenburg and 12 km north
of Miltenberg. On the eastern side of the Main River is the Spessart Nature Park and on the western side is the Odenwald Nature Park. Politically,
belongs Erlenbach am Main to the government district of Lower Franconia in the Free State of Bavaria. Close to Erlenbach are (among many others)
the towns of Aschaffenburg, Miltenberg, Wertheim, Michelstadt, all with picturesque and charming streets, alleys and beautiful half-timbered
houses, the Engelberg Cloister in Großheubach and the famous castle surrounded by water in Mespelbrunn. For nature enthusiasts, both forests offer
excellent opportunities for hiking on beautiful nature trails. And without forgetting, the terraced vineyards of Erlenbach offer beautiful views over
the Main valley.
